The movie has a powerful message, the characters are beautifully portrayed and endearing, the story was believable and thought-provoking. I held back tears through the better part of the movie because of it's emotional impact. I highly recommend seeing Brother's Keeper when it is released on Friday, November 1st in local theaters throughout the US. |
| User ReviewJennifer CTook my parents to see a good little film tonight. We had already planned to see this little faith centric film, since we thought it was a film we could all enjoy. Well, not only did we enjoy the movie, but as we walked in, someone promoting the film there stopped us at the door and gave us free tickets to the flick! :) Perfect timing and as I said before, good movie. Between now and March it will be popping around to different theaters. So if you see it near you, I recommend it for Christians and NON-Christians alike. |
| User ReviewStephen LI saw the sneak peak on Saturday and thought it was an excellent movie. Not the typical Christian movie at all. It shows the struggles some face when terrible things happen and yet still shows how faith can be born or re-ignited even out of tragedy. Bad things do happen to good people in this world, but it is how you face it that is the true measure of a believer. The only negative is with the "movie" side of the story, I would have liked to see some of the loose ends be tied up at the end. |
