Based on a true story, it is about a struggling young father (Baldwin) who can no longer support his wife and family, falling in with a beginning group of white supremacists led by a man (Gallagher) who is obsessed with the "takeover of the Country by whites." | User ReviewIan CI don't know whether this was released straight to DVD or aired straight to television, but it isn't as bad as the reviews it received. Gallagher is quality but the script is fairly wank and the low budget dictates that the robbery itself is unspectacular. It cracked me up how they transform from white power activists and small meetings to masterminding the biggest robbery in the history of the U.S over night. It also fails to cover a lot of the details of their second infamous act, the controversial murder of Alan Berg. |
