VarietyDennis HarveyWell acted (though Garriga doesn’t quite make a coherent character out of Lauren, or create believable marital chemistry with Scott), this is a smooth movie that maybe should have been a little less tidy for maximum impact.
The A.V. ClubRoxana HadadiDirector Henry Jacobson’s gory thriller is initially quite effective when it complements the lies families tell each other with arcs of jugular blood.
RogerEbert.comBrian TallericoA strong sense of style and a promising premise are undone in a film that never quite figures out how to write itself out of its corner.

User ReviewGeorgii15I'm very surprised!! this is one of the best thrillers I've ever watched.
User ReviewJLauGuidance counsellor kills his student's abusers but has no problem with his wife killing one of his students to keep the whole thing secret and seemingly, his mother also liked a bit of killing, hence the bloodline part.
User ReviewJLuis_001It was intriguing to see Seann William Scott outside of his comfort zone although this disregarded film hardly does anything with that. It's practical and doesn't have any type of innovation or surprises but that at the same time makes it so trivial and the third act falls into the absurd, therefore there is nothing worth mentioning after finishing it.
