Full Plot Details

Percy (Alex Russell) and Veronica (Willa Holland) have been housesitting at a palatial modern spread in the Hollywood Hills for the summer, but the real world of New York, jobs and young professional struggles are merely days away. Nonetheless they are in a hurry to leave this paradise, because the tranquility was broken by an unwanted visit by former college classmate Freedgood (Miguel Gomez). His time since their liberal arts' years has been marked by imprisonment, shady business associations, and drug dealing. And as we learn quickly, this has lead to the man's demise, an interested LAPD detective, and a longing for the everyday strife that seems so much more desirable than staying in their false Eden.

If you are a fan of hers (The OC, Gossip Girl, Arrow, etc) this movie is a must watch. Likewise for the guys, if you are a fan of Miguel Gomez (Southpaw) or Alex Russell (Chronicle) you have to check this movie out. The script has some pretty funny lines and keeps the plot moving. The story is realistic, practical, and full of symbolism throughout. You really get a sense of fear and are rooting for the characters by the end of the movie. While others will say "it looks great," which it does, the writing and acting are really good, too. A very underrated film IMO! I already want to watch it again, will be renting on iTunes ASAP.

Set against the backdrop of the even more attractive Hollywood Hills, Blood in the Water does a great job of bringing intrigue to this story of fast money and lavish living. As the story follows these young adults, audiences are taken on an intense weekend get together of old friends. When greed and deception begin to overtake the weekend, things go awfully awry. These young, hopeful adults find themselves in a game of survival and deceit in order to get what they want. It's a captivating thriller that I definitely suggest watching.

Directors Orson and Ben Cummings do an incredible job artistically portraying a rivalrous love triangle and their journey full of twists and turns. Using Hollywood Hills created a captivating set design to base this intense thriller embodying the glamorous, corrupt LA lifestyle. Willa Holland, Alex Russell and Miguel Gomez all gave strong performances bringing the chemistry to life, I'd love to see them in more works. The result is a sexy, engaging plot with an equally stunning cast and set. I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a good thriller.

The film has a thoughtful, creative plot and shot in a simple but artistic fashion that lets the script and action shine through. The cast properly expresses each character and develops them through the end. It's the right balance of mystery, suspense and humor.

What impressed me most about this film was the camera work though. Really beautifully done, and the locations and picture really shine here. Be on the lookout for these directors in the future.
