Los Angeles Times - 6/10 by Glenn WhippIt's a tad overstuffed, but never lacks for interest. And Saulter, who serves as his own director of photography, has a poet's eye for detail, capturing the beauty of his native country, even in its most extreme poverty.

User Review - 6/10 by Paul DThe attention to detail in the script and character of the late 70's politicised Jamaicans makes this an intense watch, although the use of English subtitles for an English language film does detract somewhat, but is also necessary in some instance given the dialogue and accents are deep. The story is somewhat convoluted though.
