A violent tempest and a set of lightning flashes above the infamous Bermuda Triangle takes out one of Air Force One's engines, and President DeSteno narrowly escapes in his pod. As Chief Trip Oliver and Admiral Linda Hansen's Special Forces team comb the ocean to locate the president before he runs out of oxygen, monstrous tentacles emerge from the bottom of the sea, attacking the ships and everything in sight. | User ReviewBrian CThe people hate SyFy films but the coveted 5 star rating finally goes to a SyFy original movie. This movie can probably be compared a lot to Battleship and I'm sure without a shadow of a doubt that this pales in comparison. But you know what, they finally nailed it with this one. There was no cheesy acting, shitty CGI, abuse of 60fps slow motion, stupid personal issues plot (slightly mentioned but actually necessary for character development). Good job SyFy network! 80 films later you finally got it right. I expect you to completely fuck it up in the next film! But for now take the glory and bathe in it, because it will probably never happen again. You finally earned it, you finally deserve it! |

I mean the film only has 4 ratings on this flixster app meaning that I am of a unique bunch that has actually bothered to watch this. It can't even find a title poster for its profile for gods sake! For those of you out there that wonder what happens to actors who appear in absolute classics and then disappear off the face of the earth - here's your answer! Take Linda Hamilton for example, star of Terminator 2: Judgement day. She takes one of the lead roles in this looking seriously hagged and old, proving that the budget for this film cannot even afford make up! In relation to the concept, it's of course a SyFy beauty. Combining the treacherous seas of the Bermuda Triangle with the devilishly electric tentacles of an underwater beast. Unfortunately it's not bad enough to make it good, but it's relatively all action and little dialogue meaning the poor acting doesn't steal the limelight. To think that pop star Mya is one of the better performers says it all. Not one of the best combo flicks I've seen, but there are plenty more I'll be eager to watch in order to try and redeem this genre! |

| User ReviewScott TShockingly bad the idea was good but the implementation was awfull Too many continuity errors more so where ships and helicopters were used Also dialogue errors "USS Cyclops was a cargo ship carrying coal" Wrong it was a US navy purpose built COLLIER signfcatly different from a cargo ship of the period, also firing a rocket launcher insde a chopper not a good idea |
