To make matters worse, he recruits 2 idiots from Delhi who've never even picked a pocket in their lives. Enter tough as nails supercop, CBI officer Amjad Khan played by Vivek Anand Oberoi, who shoots first and interrogates later. And a mad media circus outside led by fashion journo turned crime reporter Gayatri Ganguly aka Gaga played by Rhea Chakraborty. And you know the Bankchors are up for the worst day of their lives. Yet. The film promises to be a crazy roller-coaster ride with thrills, chills and certainly lots of spills.

FilmfareRachit GuptaAt one point, Bank Chor feels like an Abbas Mustan thriller, what with double cross, deceit and murder becoming the mainstay of the story. But the witty comedy keeps the thrill of the concept alive.
The Times of IndiaNihit BhaveIt is too reminiscent of bank-heist movies of the past; there are even clear shoutouts to the Dhoom franchise. A better plan of action and a few dry runs with the script would have ensured a product to bank on.
The HinduNamrata JoshiThe filmmaker has quite a good set of actors at his disposal (Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Sahil Vaid) but ends up wasting them.
Scroll.inNandini RamnathRiteish Deshmukh, an expert at face-pulling slapstick, has little material to work with, and is surrounded by extras trying too hard to make their short appearances count.
User ReviewAnmol Kumar Swatched Bank chor yesterday and it is a good movie. Has some good stuff. Some of it could be guessed though because we see lot of heist movies but still worth a watch. To some extent it had shades of inside man and other heist movies but still good. Ritesh acted really well and vivek did his job nicely. at some places he was overacting but still OK. I am surprised why this movie was panned badly by critics. I see a trend with these elite reviewers who would slam such movies but blindly like dumb movies of big stars be it salman or srk. It was many times more sensible than that crap known as Dhoom 3 which was rated 4 stars by many. Movie also reminds me of some good simple heists movies like Going in style recently. I think reviewers should change their attitude and be more impartial.
User ReviewRavi NWas supposed to be a Comedy ended up being a Heist Film. Confused storytelling
