User ReviewJerrod OCrazy, sexy, cool like TLC. A little funny too, maybe 5 stars only because I was really bored when I decided to watch this.
User ReviewRyan CBad Roomies is a one of those unheard of films that deserves to be seen because it was hilarious yet serious and fairly intense at times. 2 guys need a new roommate and they decide on a hot yet mysterious girl. She ends up turning their lives upside down and the 3 create some great moments that all concludes in an unexpected way. The cast was great together and the the memorable Ham Porter from The Sandlot was just as you might expect, hilarious. The plot kept moving at a good pace and it got very interesting toward the last half of the film. The ending came out of nowhere but it was good and everything fit into place. Although their is not cover art for this film on Flixster, check it out on Netflix if you want a good laugh.
User ReviewChristopher WDespite the poor rating on here, I thought this flick was phenomenal. Plot twists left and right, and the grown up fat red headed kid from sandlot was super funny!
User ReviewMatthew JIt's as funny as most Hollywood comedies..A tale of two best friends that fall in love with their new roommate until she turns on both of them. It has action, comedy and romance..all-in-all a good comedy!

User ReviewAnnie GIf you're looking for a light-hearted fun comedy that you won't have to think too much about, this is not it. It's not Neighbors or an Adam Sandler film or something like that. It's more of a clever dark comedy. The film makers wanted to make more than just a mindless film, and I really appreciate the attempt. Now each scene separate to me is actually well written and well acted, and if I had seen them like that instead of as one continuous film, I would have laughed my ass off and been pretty freaken entertained. But that's the thing. The movie feels like the writers wrote each scene separate and then strung them all together without much thought to how the pieces fit, leaving a lot of things (like the way the characters acted, the random shit that happened, etc.) very inconsistent and sacrificing a potentially solid story. And by the end, I'm left thinking, "Oh this could have been so awesome man!" But nope :/. Aside from how the scenes are put together, there are things about the premise of the film really don't make sense, like how the roommates own the beautiful house without either of them seeming like they earn enough $$ (and I think this film would've worked even better if it was in a normal apartment), how they are even best friends (the crazy psycho paranoic entitled brat guy vs the normal nice chill guy - to me, in the real world, the only way that would work is if the nice guy had amnesia every minute or felt sorry for the guy and was friends with him out of pity, neither of which the film puts him out to be), why the girl attempted to seduce both of them when she clearly just liked one of them, etc. And then there's the twisted moral code of the film that makes it seem like the girl roommate (Chloe) was actually in the wrong when she didn't really do anything wrong, and that what the guys were doing back at her was totally fine in this harmless game of playing fire with fire when really, it was incredibly childish and pretty sick shit. All in all, this film had such awesome potential but wasn't given enough time to reach that potential, so yeah. I wish it did. It's not a good clever comedy nor is it a fun mindless film, which makes it kind of pointless to watch. But anyways, it's not horrible, and I think everybody deserves some credit, and I don't think you'd regret it too much if you watched it, and I'm actually looking forward to seeing all the people involved grow to make better films.
User ReviewIsaiah JI've finally seen this movie and I will say I was not disappointed this movie had good humor made me laugh alot especially with Patrick Renna but some aspects were a bit far fetched like the ending for example
User ReviewDana GTerrible acting. Dumb story line. Wasted 6 bucks to rent and an hour and a half of my life
User ReviewJames MTake the good with the not so good. A great cast and good production but the plot was a little convoluted, long, and left something to be desired. While the movie was entertaining, I found myself wondering, "Where is this going?" Like the movie was trying to say something but just couldn't get around to it. It fell flat in the 3rd act where the movie just fell apart and I was waiting for either the movie to end. The performances were phenomenal and engaging however and Renna, Savas, Tohn and Monroe played each role well. They added heart to characters that could have been one-dimensional. The direction/production was nice to see visually but, again, the plot just took to long to make its point (if there was one) Okay movie but nothing too great.
User ReviewFrancis TThis movie is total crap shit.. the story doesnt make any sense at all.. defies logic and common sense.
