EmanuelLevy.ComEmanuel LevyGrason Kanin's witty comedy in which Ginger Rogers plays a single mother was a commercial hit, demonstrating her viability as a dramatic actress and comedienne after her separation from dance partner Fred Astaire.
Mountain Xpress (Asheville, NC)Ken HankeOkay comedy that ought to have been great.
Ozus' World Movie ReviewsDennis SchwartzMakes the most of a misunderstanding over maternity.
User ReviewKatie DGinger at her comedic best!! i don't care who the father is... i'm the grandfather!
User ReviewRebekah VIt's a shame they don''t make movies like this anymore. Such good clean fun.
User ReviewMicah Wthis movie is absolutely HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT! honestly, one of David Nivens best roles!
User ReviewKatrina PThis is one of my favorite movies. The whole thing where she's at the party and she's pretending to speak Swedish is hysterical
User ReviewMark ASadly, they don't make films like this anymore, and they don't stars like this anymore.
User ReviewErin Wlove this classic romantic movie since i was a teenager!
User ReviewChristopher NFor me, Ginger can do no wrong. Her screen persona knocks me out - a beautiful woman with a resilient spirit. Her abilities as a comedienne are up there with the greats of Golden Era comedy. And her dancing -- don't get me started on her dancing! The young David Niven is in fine form in this one. The storyline has a million holes but who cares? It's a joy to watch.
