User Reviewdoris cEasily my favourite Will Hay movie. The simple plot and farce humour are not to be missed.
User ReviewGlyn JWill Hay deserves a much greater reputation as a great screen comic. This is my favourite of his films with Moffatt and Marriott, it's just delightful.
User ReviewAndrew MA very very funny film. Will Hay was a comedy genius.
User ReviewJennifer Pbrilliant and hilarious. classic british comedy
User ReviewPrivate UFurther evidence of the genius of Hay and his exemplary comic timing.
User ReviewRamin SComedy Will Hay and his partners - the fat one and the old one. A must for 'music Hall' entertainment and a 'creepy' subplot keep it on the boil. A fantastic scene with the old man's even older father reciting a rhyme that goes on forever - a favourite hoot amongst films.
User ReviewBen DThe Original and Best - Canon & Ball's remake rated MINUS 5 stars but Simon Pegg's "Hot Fuzz" was a worthy homage.
User ReviewOrlok WThe brilliant Will Hay in a classic comedy with his usual duo of Moore Marriott and Graham Moffatt. Fun, quirky and definately one for the classic film collection.
User ReviewRob JBrilliant film - classic comedian, Hay deserves to be recognised
User ReviewLes EBritain's answer to Phil Silvers. Set in the village of Turnbottom Round. Watch it Saturday morning and you are straight back to pre TISWAS days. Slap stick near its best.
