Swifty the Arctic Fox (Jeremy Renner) works in the mailroom of the Arctic Blast Delivery Service, but he has much bigger dreams. He yearns to become a Top Dog, the Arctic's star husky couriers. To prove he can do it, he commandeers one of the sleds and delivers a mysterious package to a secret location. Once there, he stumbles on a hidden fortress overseen by the nefarious Otto Von Walrus (John Cleese). The blubbery evil genius commands an army of oddly polite puffin henchmen. Swifty discovers Otto Von Walrus' villainous plan to drill beneath the snow-packed surface to unleash masses of ancient gas to melt the Arctic and become the world's supreme ruler. To stop this sinister scheme, Swifty enlists the help of his friends: PB (Alec Baldwin), a neurotic polar bear, Lemmy (James Franco), a scatterbrained albatross, Jade Fox (Heidi Klum), a brainy engineer, Leopold (Omar Sy) and Bertha (Heidi Klum), two conspiracy theorist otters and Magda (Anjelica Huston), his curmudgeonly boss.

Movie Reviews

TheWrap - 6/10 by William BibbianiArctic Dogs is a functional, distracting kids flick that’s only remarkable in how unremarkable it is.
The A.V. Club - 3/10 by Katie RifeThere’s really not much to recommend about this film: the animation lacks texture, the score is overwrought, the plotting is scattershot, and the character design is uninspired.
The Hollywood Reporter - 3/10 by Frank ScheckThe computer animation proves competent if uninspired, and somehow manages to make even its presumably fail-safe puffins devoid of cuteness.
Movie Nation - 3/10 by Roger MooreThere’s precious little action, and beavers with Italian accents, weasels with German and French ones (“Vive l’resistence!”) and zero laughs spread over 92 minutes.
User Review - 10/10 by Alfredo23I see a lot of potential in this film to take the lead in the animation race it just depends how it’s used. It’s a really engaging movie waiting to expand more with different characters and settings. We enjoyed it over all and this movie just might be the one to take the lead if they can improve on texture and timing with the animation it’s self.
User Review - 10/10 by Denilson635Eu gostei do filme, não entendo porque tanta crítica. Falam que o filme e genérico, e o que isso tem a ver? Eu gostei do design só o enredo que poderia ser melhor.
User Review - 7/10 by chrisman20okay so lets start by saying maybe if i hadnt seen a better movie first this might not have been so bad but to me this was average not very good but not bad the movie did make me smile a little and gave me the you can do it type of spirit however unless your kids really love puppies this might not be the best for them and you might just want to wait for froxen 2 Expand
User Review - 5/10 by 1MoviemanI thought the movie was ok. I liked it. But Abominable was better. I saw Abominable twice ,once in 3d and the first time in regular.
User Review - 5/10 by DuckydanArctic dogs wasn’t a terrible movie nor was it a great movie. My son enjoyed it. The animation was good but the story seemed like a run of the mill Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon movie versus something that deserved a theatrical release.
