James Rolfe passion for film making is really inspiring to me as he uses purposely laughable practical effects which is a loving tribute to the classic 50's horror movies he enjoyed throughout his lifetime. The film was funny, actionpacked, goofy, and really well made for bieng a $325,327 film. I hope Rolfe continues to make these enjoyable B movies. 5/5 |

| User ReviewAlexander LA lot of people like to pan this movie, but I thought it was quite enjoyable and a great film, but only for video game enthusiasts. The acting was good, especially from Stephen Mendel, who plays the trigger, or more explosive, happy General Dark Onward, who is over the top fun always losing limbs. Most of the jokes are hilarious, but some fall flat. For example, 'Howard Scott Warshaw made Yars' Revenge, but he also made E.T.! Its like giving someone a present, but then s****ing on their doorstep at the same time. Like Santa Claus with diarrhea.' Overall, if you are a fan of the Nerd or video games in general, its worth your time. |
