Huub Stapel probably gives the best perfomance in his career. also serge henri valcke and his stupid henchmen is hilarious. also Hidde Maas is in this movie and he is just in to little Dutch films. Let him play with cees geel and he is able to play a genius criminal duo. unfortunately our dutch all leading lady monique vd ven is not really that strong in this movie. But it continues to be an amazing movie. Amsterdamned is together with 'de lift' and 'de johnsons' one of the best Dutch thrillers. (with obviously amsterdamned on 1#!)

User Review - 6/10 by Riff JA pretty good movie. Its more of a suspense thriller than horror. Saw it with english dubbing vs subtitles (didn't have a choice on shudder). Theres an amazing speed boat chase through the canals of Amsterdam that was exciting. Its a decent whodunit especially for the 80's.

User Review - 6/10 by Jon HFun little Dutch potboiler about a mysterious diver trolling the canals of Amsterdam, picking off people. Who could it be? Hot shot Visser needs to find this out before the diver chooses the next victim! Surprisingly more competent then an action / horror movie should be, this had a lot of shocks, surprises, and one hell of a boat chase. The only problem with this is the rushed rushed ending, where everything comes to a pat conclusion. It might seem... well, logical, that a killer might do what he did in the end, but that doesn't leave the viewer satisfied!!
