User Review - 6/10 by Yannis SSeriously, what do you expect with a title like that? I don't get the negative ratings for this movie. The monsters were awsome!

I rented "Alien Lockdown" and my expectation was very low based on other reviews I read and the fact it was straight to video B Movie. I was pleasantly surprised watching this film. It is not a great achievement in movie making but the film looked pretty good. The art direction was above par for a film of this budget. There is nothing incredible about the story but it was acceptable. The final climax of the film was enjoyable for me and that was shocking. The main monster looked pretty good but some smaller ones there were some CGI problems but not really bad. On the scare factor the film is not a real jumper but that was ok. There is some gore but I found it rather mild compared to many other recent horror films. I will give this film a fresh rating although I know this is not for everyone. If you like "creature features" give it a try. If you don?t, I would say pass.
User Review - 6/10 by Nyssa BIt wasn't THAT bad. It's worth one watch, anyway. There are worse science fiction movies on the shelves in your video store, though I would think this one more of an action movie with a touch of science fiction. I think more sci-fi would have made it slightly better.

Yes it is clearly influenced by Alien, Aliens, Predator, species and Relic....So? This is cheap movie making for those of us who can appreciate and enjoy b-movie creature and monster movies.

Set in the civil war, some bandits rob a bank and stay at an abandoned house, and crazy things happen. The special effects were top of the line, but the story was rather boring, and confusing at spots. It beat all of my expectations, but that doesn't make it a wonderful movie.[/left] [center]Alien Lockdown[/center] [left]This thing just took forever, many moments just relied solely on people looking around dramatically for minutes at a time. The opening story isn't necessary, hell what am I saying, this whole movie wasn't necessary. The creature looked semi cool, like an Alien Predator ripoff, and the leading lady just got more and more attractive as the movie went on. I think my standards just keep dropping. Bring on the good movies.[/left]
