But with a little unexpected help from Mrs. Plotkin, Alice learns not to judge by appearances or jump to conclusions. More importantly, she confronts her father over his inability to accept their loss and move on into the future.

Very dramatic, but very good and very relatable to kids of that age range (grade6/pre-teen/tween) BUT did have a hard time watching with Luke Perry playing the dad. Is that a sign that you are getting old and watching a movie with your kids and the actor playing the parent is who you wathched as a teenager and thought was sooo cute! |
