The dark sorcerer, posing an nonexistent uncle, takes Aladdin to the hidden sunk city to retrieve the lamp, but loses track by trying too soon to kill Aladdin, who gets three wishes and the sympathy of the jinn (genie), looses the lamp and is imprisoned by the sultan's guards, but the lamp liberates him by proxy. The princess tricks the sultan into a wedding, but moodily turns on her groom in process. The sorcerer seizes the opportunity, but gets outsmarted.
