EmanuelLevy.ComEmanuel LevyWhat begins as a nice romantic fantasy turns into a schmaltzy melodrama about love and war, but it reflected the national mood and thus became a huge commercial hit.
User ReviewPrivate UWWII propaganda but much better than "Always" which Spielberg's adaptation which came out in the 1989. P-38s rock!
User ReviewScott RClassic movie. I could watch it over and over again!
User ReviewZ PGreat film - one of Spielberg's favorites. Well acted by all.
User ReviewJexy GSpielberg loved this film so much that he decided to remake it as Always.
User ReviewAshley HClassic movie. I could watch it over and over again!
User ReviewBrian SSpencer Tracy, Irene Dunne and Van Johnson did a winderful job in this movie. This movie was remade in the 80's and it starred Richard Dreyfuss, Holly Hunter, and John Goodman.
User ReviewWill CA fun, creative, and touching film that remains the better between it and its remake, "Always" (Spielberg, 1989).
User ReviewLanning :Was there ever an actress more intelligent, more beautiful, than Irene Dunne? And never an Oscar winner. This one's a little hokey, but a beautiful double love story. The movie that made Van Johnson a star.
User ReviewPaul AProbably only 3-1/2 worthy, but I bumped it to 4 because of Irene Dunne.
