Film Journal InternationalDavid NohHas just enough plot twists and suspense to keep you from going (like them) too stir-crazy. I said "just."
SciFiNowPoppy-Jay PalmerWhat 400 Days does do... is force you to think about how you would handle the situations the crew are faced with.
StarburstRyan PollardIn the end, 400 Days is a good and compelling idea that has been disappointingly realised with a preposterous second half.
GuardianLeslie FelperinNearly all the spooky bits are achieved by pure aural assault, and the characters are such stock types, haunted by such predictable backstories, it's like watching Solaris performed by sock puppets.
Total FilmKevin HarleyIf the final third’s sudden, Twilight Zone-lite genre relocation seems desperate, the hollow climax confirms suspicions: vital supplies of narrative oxygen are lacking here.
The Young FolksAllyson JohnsonThere is rarely a moment when 400 Days isn't a structural mess.
User ReviewBrian SI thought it was good. No one actually dies in it, except a mouse. Tom Cavanagh was great!
User ReviewLuke FThis movie has received a ton of bad reviews and they are not deserved. Its a movie that will get your brain acting in over time. When the movie ended I was on the edge of my seat, grinning and saying "what the fuck" with my mind completely blown. Its nice to have a change of scenery with movies and find one that is not predictable which seems to be what the critics would have preferred. Watch it, it will blow your mind. It's one of the best movies I have seen this year and I've watched hundreds.
User ReviewCody DA film that keeps you guessing. No clear answer is given the whole movie but that is the point. It is all an experiment and yet the line between real and fake is blurred. I enjoyed it very much
User ReviewMartin GToss Truman show & Twilight Zone into a Blender and sprinkle a dose of Shining and you end up with 400 Days. This is seriously weird, bizarre, and right out there - all in the best ways. The acting and story were very good! Worth the watch!!
