A few incidents that happen at 11:14 p.m. in the town of Middleton are seen from five different perspectives, each of the players who generally works toward self interest, not caring about the consequence to other people, and in the process exacerbating the situations by his or her actions. Jack, in town to meet someone, is a chronic drinker and driver, he still doing so despite having his license temporarily suspended. Teens Mark, Eddie, and Tim are out for a joyride in Mark's van, they generally causing havoc all in the name of having fun, that is until something goes wrong. Frank, out for a walk with his dog, stumbles across something which makes him jump to a conclusion about his daughter, to whom he is both overprotective and overly trusting. Duffy, who works as a clerk at Lloyd's EZZZ Stop convenience store, goes to the store just as it is closing to ask his friend, the clerk on duty, Buzzy, for a favor, which may be difficult for her to grant based on her own needs, and Cheri is trying to get a few hundred dollars for an abortion from the purported "fathers", while in reality, she has another plan in mind. All their actions make for a busy night for the first responders on-duty, including Officer Hannagan, and paramedics Leon and Kevin.

Combustible CelluloidJeffrey M. AndersonThe solid screenplay satisfyingly clicks everything together, unraveling little mysteries as it goes and leaving nothing hanging.
Killer Movie ReviewsAndrea Chasea classic a shaggy dog story [that keeps] things moving with an effervescent sleight of hand.
ViewLondonMatthew TurnerEnjoyable, smartly directed comedy thriller with a clever script and engaging performances from its ensemble cast.
The Hollywood ReporterKirk HoneycuttHas a demented sense of humor, and the cleverness of its taut narrative structure and misanthropic characterizations constantly surprises a viewer. The movie does what you wish more first-time features would do: tell a story economically with first-rate actors and no hint of self-consciousness.
VarietyLisa NesselsonA zippy and sardonic feast of bad decision-making under pressure, 11:14 artfully molds the seemingly unrelated misfortunes of 10 characters into a satisfying and consistently entertaining whole.
Draxblog Movie ReviewsDragan Antulovcan be viewed more like an exercise in style than film in its own right
Shadows on the WallRich ClineFast and fairly engaging ... but in the end it feels a bit pointless.
Cinema CrazedFelix Vasquez Jr.A rambling, incoherent quasi-ensemble picture with no clear or concise point in sight...
The A.V. ClubScott TobiasThe best possible feeling that 11:14 could leave behind is that Marcks has pulled off something clever, but just bringing the puzzle pieces together isn't that impressive a feat. As "Memento" proves, it's the big picture that really counts.
