Carlos Hugo Christensen was born in 1914 in Santiago del Estero, Argentina. Carlos Hugo Christensen was an Argentine film director, screenwriter and film producer. He was of Danish descent through his paternal side. Christensen directed 54 different films between 1946 and his retirement. In the mid 1950s he relocated to Brazil where he established his own film studio, Carlos Hugo Christensen Produções Cinematográficas. He retired from film in 1996 and died three years later of a heart attack in Brazil.
