Steve Punt was born in 1962. Writer, comedian and actor. He is best known for appearing as part of the double act Punt and Dennis, with Hugh Dennis. He started making a name for himself whilst studying at Cambridge University. Appearing on 90s comedy shows The Mary Whitehouse Experience and later The Imaginatively Titled Punt & Dennis Show made him a household name. In recent years he has been working more as a script writer and script editor and less as an actor or stand-up comic.
