Juliane Köhler was born in 1965 in Göttingen, Germany. Juliane Köhler is the daughter of a puppet theatre actor. Initially she attended for two years the drama Studio Gmelin in Munich. From 1985 to 1988, she was in New York to study acting with Uta Hagen and attended the H. B. acting Studio. Furthermore, she took ballet lessons with Daniela good luck in Munich.
