Full Plot Details

Local mechanic Jake LaFond's life is suddenly disrupted when mysterious parasites transform the law-abiding citizens of his quaint hometown into hoards of cannibalistic zombies. Isolated from the outside world by an accident on the only road out of town, Jake turns to Alex, his ex-girlfriend, for help. Together they try to solve the mystery behind this rapidly spreading infection. As the town grows deadlier by the moment, Jake's gun-toting rival, Randy, becomes the third person in this trio of unlikely heroes and the battle is on. Between blood hungry grandmothers and lethal domestic animals, Jake, Alex and Randy must fight to make it through the night. Can they survive?

User Review - 8/10 by Jennie RB-movie extraordinaire!! This movie is well done for what it is. The zombies are created following the idea from "Dreamcatcher". There was some humor, some gross and had likable characters. Love the line, "Where would a bunch of zombie grandmas go in this town?" Zombie lovers will appreciate this movie. Catch it on Netflix streaming.

User Review - 6/10 by Jessica HA fun little film that has the quality of an 80s B Flick rather than the 00s indie horror that it is. I can't say it veers away from the pitfalls of it's contemporaries but it makes them oddly work. The video/film quality also looks 80s like, which is kind of nice. The big problem I have with this film, and it really needs to stop, is the insertion of stupid as contemporay hard rock from a local band into big scenes. The music always sucks and it really takes away from the film. JUST FUCKING SCORE IT, I don't care how musically inept you are, it will sound better. Take John Carpenter for example, his simple score are incredible. I'm a credit watcher and I actually had to cut the volume and watch the credits silently just so I didn't have to hear the music. But if you don't have a problem with that, this will keep you entertained.

User Review - 6/10 by ken jOk this is a mega low budget indy Zombie film but I had a great time watching it. The acting is not amazing but I thought they gave a good run for what they had to work with I'm sure. I've watched a ton of zombie films both low and high budgeted and this is one of the best lower budget zombie flicks. I have seen hand fulls of higher budgeted zombie films that are 100 times worse then this movie will ever be. There are some continuity problems mostly in the pub scene when the main actor and actress are having a beer and of course the typical blood continuity problems that ever movie has those I forgive because doing blood is just hard some times. So see this movie if you have some time to kill but watch it knowing that its a low budget flick and have fun with it.(n)
