CompuserveHarvey S. KartenOriginality notwithstanding, the pic is too slight for the big screen.
Hollywood ReporterMichael RechtshaffenThe admittedly thought-provoking results fail to make the full-blown transition from curious concept to substantial theatrical proposition.
Village VoiceTim GriersonA case of provocative issues at the mercy of unskilled execution.
Chicago Sun-TimesBill StametsBoasts a fertile premise but a sterile outcome.
Insight NewsKam WilliamsAs adroitly executed a directorial debut as you could ever hope to find, this ingenious, sci-fi comedy revolves around a mythological malady which causes carriers to change gender whenever they make love.
Chicago TribuneMichael PhillipsA half-silly, half-earnest indie with the soul of a John Hughes-era sex comedy.
User ReviewMike CI was invited to a screening of Zerophilia at Westwood Crest Theatre November 16, 05 in the LA area and it was great to see the theatre packed. It's a romantic comedy with a twist. The audience loved it. I'm not one to laugh easily at films, but, this one had me laughing out loud a lot. I hope these guys get distribution. The theatre was packed and everyone was clapping and smiling at the end. You could tell by the faces that everyone loved it. I went in without knowing a thing about the premise line and never looked at the trailer. It took me by complete surprise. A cute movie that really does a great job of highlighting love for a person no matter what the gender is. It's a great comic fantasy. With a twist I'd never thought of. You are what you are! Good job...;)
User ReviewSteve ZFascinating story about gender and attraction and how both those lines may be blurred.
User ReviewMeghan CAmazing. Think "Just One of the Guys," multiplied by 10. Plus, Kelly LaBrock's bonus mock-interview is 10 kinds of amazingness all its own.
User ReviewLee Mi'm really surprised that it had low ratings. this is a good movie! very weird & quirky.
