| User ReviewElizabethBrittney was amazing in her role, but Sean's was a role that I would like to see more of. Zack is that hopeless romantic dork in school that one might wish they had gotten to know. And by dork, I mean the obvious nerd that is also a sweet heart and very good looking. Honestly, if more guys were like Zack (or even Sean), I'd deffinatly give him a chance. |
| User ReviewElaine MOne of the most undervalued black comedy masterpieces, starring movie-goddess Brittany Murphy as Reba, the loopy but loveable bride to be whose fiancé shoots himself when she calls off the wedding a week in advance. S P Flanery portrays Zack who, in pain of her passing, goes nowhere without the skeleton of his dead wife, and is therefore far from over it. The two meet and endure the resistance of Reba's mother and the pressure of Zack's grandmother both of which put a strain on the development of their relationship. Dark, subtly twisted, cleverly scripted with a crazy soundtrack, I really could not recommend it more... |
| User ReviewCassandra MI think of the many films iv'e seen Zack and Reba is the one that has made me laugh the most. Debbie Reynolds does a fantastic job of playing a wacky grandma. When Zack's (Sean Patrick Flannery)wife dies he cannot get over his grief so he Carry's his wife's skeleton with him, when Reba's (Brittany Murphy) Fiancé shots himself she doesn't think she'l find anyone else. If your bored or it's just a rainy day, Zack and Reba will keep you laughing. Brittany Murphy does a wonderful job of playing Reba, and Debbie Reynolds is one of the most original characters ever. Another character which will leave you in stitches is the slightly perverted priest with his "pomegrantete" line. Definitely a worthwhile film. |
| User Reviewjay nFilmmaker 1: Let's take a cast of talented performers, why not a Hollywood legend too-make sure to stick a fright wig on her and make her character ridiculous, and stick them in an aimless, foolish and pointless story that we'll say is about recovering from a great loss but has so little direction that no one will actually care what it's about and then end it in the most tasteless manner possible. Filmmaker 2: You don't have to it's already been done in Zack & Reba! Terrible movie. |
