eFilmCritic.com - 6/10 by David CorneliusThe real joys of this movie are merely in watching Lau and Cheng play off one another.
User Review - 10/10 by Private USammi and Andy were so matched. I love the sotryline of two theives who loved each other so much but they departed for saving that feeling.

User Review - 8/10 by Leo KIt's a well-made movie. The story is very thought-provoking, the cast, the BGM, sound effects etc were all above standard. No one can afford to miss this. You probably will learn something from it.

User Review - 8/10 by Udayalaksmanakartiyasa Hunpredictably smart story, with a good sense of humor and very good cinematography. Andy and Sammy just matched perfectly.
User Review - 8/10 by Stefano CLove this movie! Andy Lau & Sami Cheng have great chemistry. This movie reminds me of a cross between The Thomas Crown Affair and After the Sunset...same excitement and overall feeling.
User Review - 8/10 by Aladygma eThird installment in Johnnie To's immensely successful, but artistically often questioned, Andy Lau/Sammi Cheng venture. Although routinely squeezed into a narrow romcom mould, each film is steeped in a separate mood. Where Needing You was adorably cute, Love On A Diet had a coarse and almost imbecile tone. In Yesterday Once More To opts for cool sophistication, finding an excellent opportunity to display his love for classy-looking Hollywood movies, the superstar powered romances of the fifties, a fancy later developed more fully by To in Sparrow. As a pair, Lau and Cheng possesses just the right amount of glamour for this project to take off, emitting rays of old-school charm and complaisance. The deliberately convoluted screenplay feels a bit overwritten, but the puzzle-like nature of the plot also proves very effective on an emotional level, with an, in genre terms, unpredictable and unorthodox ending. A bitterly sweet sensation.
User Review - 6/10 by Steve WAny Lau and Sammi Cheng's latest outing with Johnnie To is not as effective as the others. (Needing You, Love on a Diet) It starts out as a breezy comic caper story, but throws in a depressing last minute plot line which puts a downer on everything and changes the tones completely. It's not really recommended, check out the others mentioned in this review.
