Ekrem is a famous artist, brought up by his uncle. He meets Fatos and falls in love. His cousin Jale wants him to marry her. Ekrem agrees to this, just as an expression of gratitude to his uncle. As Fatos goes to Izmir, her plane crashes and Ekrem believes that she is dead. So, he marries Jale. In an accident he loses his eyesight. Fatos learns this starts working as his nurse. Jale likes her so does Ekrem, but Jale starts getting jealous. She sees a photo of Fatos and understands the truth. Ekrem regains his eyesight after a surgery but sees that Fatos has already left. He finds her and saves her from her suicide attempt whereas Jale commits suicide wishing the two lovers to come together.
