Hollywood ReporterFrank ScheckMarred by juvenile humor and ersatz emotion, the film, directed by Pitipol Ybarra, is so bad that an even worse Hollywood remake seems inevitable.
TheWrapCarlos AguilarYa Veremos, with all its clichéd antics and uneven performances, has already been a hit in Mexico despite middling reviews. Would an unsuspecting, non-Latino viewer who randomly walks into this have a pleasant reaction? Very likely, if your sensibilities align with the film’s tropes and feel-good qualities, and you don’t mind the glaringly predictable trappings.
User ReviewIvan CI am mexican and I think that this movie is better than worse it does have some flaws of course but it has a good laid out story in which the parents are divorce but the kid is the person to bring them closer. Yes it does feel like any other new mexican movie but I this one is way better and it has a heart warming ending but I feel like the ending was way more rushed and feel like there was another part. The characters are great and the actors make these characters more realistic. Overrall it was an it was a good movie.
