Old Wyatt Earp grumpily receives in a San Francisco luxury hotel suite petty Kansas newspaper reporter Conrad, who inquires about the reason for the special edition Colt he and some fellow lawmen received from the manufacturer. He gets the story of the accidental shooting of actress Dora at Dodge City, who slept in the house of the targeted mayor. Marshall Wyatt Earp and sheriff Bat Masterson braved the unwilling judge's ultimatum to set chase to murderer James 'Spike' Kenedy, like his kid brother Sam nearly untouchable son of rich, powerful rancher Mifflin Kenedy. They build a, elite posse, including Indian-raised scout Bill Tilghman, while Spike murders even a devout rancher who offered generous hospitality and builds his own trigger happy gang. Sam is caught as bait and virtually tortured by dentist Doc Holliday. A bloody shootout is inevitable.

Movie MetropolisJames Plath"Wyatt Earp's Revenge" is like a throwback to B-Westerns, with their no-name casts, low budgets, and everything else just a few steps closer to Boot Hill than their big-budget kin.
User ReviewAmanda HI didn't have a whole lot of interest in this movie, since I'm not generally a big fan of westerns. But I was intrigued enough by the presence of Trace Adkins and Diana DeGarmo that I decided to give it a shot. This isn't deep at all, and it's probably completely unrealistic, but it's damn entertaining and sometimes that's enough. I was pretty pleasantly surprised.
User ReviewWilliam MBased on the true story of the legendary lawman, Earp recounts how he brought together the Best of the West to avenge the vicious murder of his beloved Dora. Joined by the famed Bat Masterson, Charlie Bassett, Bill Tilghman and Doc Holliday, Earp rides after the Kenedy brothers. ~ FridayToker
User ReviewDaniel LThis movie isn't bad. Its acting is ok, the story is actually pretty good but the quality of the production could've been better.
User ReviewSerge LGood story but not true at all. Wikipedia has a long entry for Wyatt where at least the names of the movie match. It paints a somewhat feel good and feel bad picture of the era, that may reflects some truth in the characters. The adventure is good and credible. Definitely good enough and intriguing enough to check its veracity afterwards. Wyatt's real life is long and much more complex than we can imagine.

User ReviewBerry MTakes artistic license. Is a rather low-budget film to all appearances. Doesn't live up to the drama of its grand predecessor, Tombstone. But you have GOT to see how this movie depicts the meeting of Earp and Holliday. One of the most hysterically, comically violent scenes in history.
User ReviewThe Movie WIf you love the history of the wild west like I do you will like this film .. Doc holiday, Wyatt Earp, Big nose Kate ..love the tales. I appreciate the history more now living in Arizona, there lives are prominent here and tombstone is evident of that. Even Wyatt Earp,s nephew tales tales on a river boat ride saguaro lake. Good time of the wild west..love it
User ReviewKerry DRich chose this one....ha! Just proving we are both equally capable of picking rubbish films!!
User ReviewJohn R121109: Oh Val Kilmer, what ever happened to you? How far you've fallen. Is this by choice, or are you such a big western fan you just can't resist any movie that will have you? This is a B western, a very B western. Plainly speaking, it's just not very good. Poor acting, poor costumes and poor special effects. Even though it's a story involving four big name historical figures (Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday, Bat Masterson, and Bill Tilghman), I don't recommend this film; even for the hard cores.
