Full Plot Details

While driving a van through Mexico looking for a location for shooting a low-budget porn, Alphonse, Steve, Dallas, Debbie, the alcoholic Daisy and the pothead Jimbo get lost and meet a stranger in a remote gas station run out of gas in the middle of nowhere. The man gives the directions for the nearest gas station, and advises the group to avoid the ghost town La Sangre de Dios. Steve recalls the Mexican legend about the best Mexican wrestler, El Mascarado, who became crazy and started killing his opponents, and was sent to this town later. The director Alphonse decides to trespass the gate of La Sangre de Dios and shoot the film in the local bar. Sooner the group discovers that Mexican legends sometimes are true.

User Review - 8/10 by Ed Fucking HThe tone of the one is lighthearted and cheesy. Not a bad thing at all, especially since this does seem to be aware of itself, and doesn't mind what it is. Story is a crew of amateur pornographers get lost in the sticks of Mexico. Upon finding themselves lost they pull into an abandoned gas station where a coke headed dude of questionable sanity points them in the direction their looking for, but not before warning them of the dangers that will await them that way. The Danger being a weird sorta Mutant wrestler, who lives to tear anyones face off who enters HIS ghost town. What follows should be fairly predicatable, and it is. Nothing wrong with that when the results are as entertaining and over the top as they are here. An easy movie to watch, and one that is highly enjoyable for horror fans, or anyone who likes cheesy over the top violence really. Recommended.
User Review - 8/10 by Matt BIf you took this movie seriously, and expected a hardcore horror, you're an idiot. It's called WRESTLEMANIAC. He WRESTLES YOU TO DEATH. It's TONGUE AND CHEEK, and amazingly so. The writer/director is going for laughs, not scares, and he succeeds with flying colors.

User Review - 8/10 by Robin DA group travel across Mexico to shoot a porn film and come across the legendary ghost town of 'La Sangre De Dios', where rumour has it the wrestler El Mascarado, who went insane during a match, was locked away. Wouldn't you know it, turns out the rumours were true! Steve finds out that El Mascarado is playing by the wrestling rules and to defeat a Mexican wrestler requires the removal of the mask which forces the wrestler into retirement from shame. Unfortunately he turns out to be a tough bastard and to make it worse, he removes his opponents masks in return. In saying mask I mean FACE! Yes, he peels the unfortunate victims faces off and collects them! It's low-budget horror with bad acting, girl-on-girl action, cameras always focusing on the girls asses as they walk/run and a big wrestler picking them off. It's definetely aimed at a male audience and if it sounds a-peel-ing (see what I did there?) then give it a go. Average horror with lots of scantily clad females.
