David, a teen-aged terminally ill hospital patient,is visited by the Wishman,who can offer him the opportunity to meet footballers or try something exhilarating before he dies. Sadly the Wishman cannot fulfil David's one desire,to lose his virginity. A newspaper advert does not have the desired effect but,thanks to the friendly and wholly unconventional hospital chaplain, David does indeed get his heart's desire in the company of warm-hearted working girl Maggie.... | User ReviewByron BFunny and quite heartwarming. A man representing a Make-a-Wish-like foundation asks David, a teenage terminal cancer patient, what he wants to do before he dies. Like any teenager sex is on his mind. David is also cared for by a priest who tries to be hip and cool. The acting, especially of Samuel Peter Holland, is sincere and charming and really made me empathize with his character despite some unbelievable occurrences. |
