Flatmates, who drive for the Black and Blue Cab Company, are late for work. As one hustles out the door, a neighbor lady who has locked herself out, asks him for help. He obliges but her husband, who drives a cab for a rival company and is quick to jealousy, catches him with her, won't wait for an explanation, assumes the worst, and decides to make the cabbie's life miserable.
