Seventeen year old LOLA FRANKLIN runs away from home but allows the world to believe she has been kidnapped. Intent on making her way across country, she meets a boy (MARLO) her age in a New Mexico diner. They fall instantly in love. | User ReviewSteve S"What Lola Wants" is not a great film, but it i a refreshing one since its characters exist in a tired genre, but are able to show strength outside the narrow plot lines. In particular I like Beau Knapp's character and the way he portrayed him. That alone makes it worth seeing. |
