Movie Reviews

NYC Movie Guru - 10/10 by Avi OfferIlluminating, potent, fair and balanced. Enraging yet hopeful. One of the best documentaries of the year. It's important that you watch it for the sake of democracy.
Radio Times - 8/10 by Jeremy AspinallA valuable tribute to protest, it's a film that should be seen by the many.
Time Out - 8/10 by Cath ClarkeNine years in the making, this impressive doc pieces together the story of the biggest global protest in history.
HeyUGuys - 8/10 by Jon LyusWe Are Many however conveys the roots of this action in a spirited, passionate and invigorating account of vocal democracy.
Los Angeles Times - 6/10 by Martin TsaiSince the rally ultimately proved ineffectual, the film could at the least serve as a sobering postmortem on where it fell short. But filmmaker Amir Amirani instead gives protesters a figurative pat on the back by insinuating that they helped inspire the Egyptian revolution some eight years later.
Independent (UK) - 6/10 by Geoffrey MacnabAmir Amirani's documentary will jog memories about the sheer scale of the anti-war protests in Britain in February 2003.
The Spectator - 4/10 by Jasper ReesWhy rake over old coals now other than to issue a gigantic 'I told you so'?
User Review - 10/10 by Max ATerrific documentary that reminds people of how relentlessly they were lied to by their leaders.
User Review - 10/10 by Paul LThis isn't a Hollywood movie with amazing special effects, a massive production team and an even bigger budget - this is much, much better...This is a labour of love and a work of bravery and passion. I had the honour of meeting the director Amir Amirani who's gradually researched & developed this film since the protest of 2003, produced with Omid Djalili, to tell a story that otherwise may never have been told. Even for the most avid supporters of the Iraq War, and perhaps especially, this is a must see film. This was the biggest event of its type in history, organised in just a few days, before the days of Twitter or Facebook, where millions of people from around the world marched together across all 7 continents, in cities all over the world, not for money or power, but for peace and unity. A marker in our development as a global civilisation. Rousing, educational, emotional and empowering - watch this film and recommend it to everyone you know... #WeAreMany x
