Full Plot Details

In Mumbai, Sid Mehra is, in the words of his father, an arrogant, spoiled brat. He lives with a doting mother, subservient brother, and a father who covers his expenses and credit card bills. Sid takes his college finals then starts work at his father's business; he lasts less than a week before walking out. At a graduation party, he meets Aisha, newly arrived from Calcutta and set on becoming a writer. He shows her the city and helps her refurbish a rented flat. He asks if she'd like to progress from friend to something more, but she says no: he lacks ambition and isn't her type. Will her words, his exam results, a confrontation with his parents, and a break with his friends be enough to wake Sid up?

Hope other directors learn a bit, its not all about spending money and singing and dancing which will make the Indian audience happy (referring to BLUE) untill and unless there is a strong script, common sense and flawless direction.

Without a care in the world, he meets Aisha (she's everything that he isn't) and helps her to settle into the life of Mumbai. Failing his last year of college and his father wanting him to gain some responsibility and work in his company, Sid leaves home after a family dispute with only his clothes. With no money and no plan, he decides to see his friend Aisha. For the first time in his entire life, he realizes that things aren't always given. At Aisha's insistence, he decides to learn basic life skills and grow up. Great cast- Ranbir Kapoor, Kokona Sen Sharma, Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak, Kainaz Motivala, and Rahul Khanna. Worthy!

User Review - 10/10 by Aishwarya Kah i knew i wanted to watch this movie ever since i saw its trailer and i must say that its really good , Ranbir Kapoor has done so well !! , the story is really nice , its more of a lovestory rather than anything else , the character of Sid is so very likable, the songs r also so very good , the song "iktara" is like the essence of the movie , all in all i totally loved it !!!!!!!!!!!!
