Two wartime friends, Karel and Frantisek (aka Franta), meet by chance after many years, and strike up a conversation over a glass that leads them to the topic of marriage and fidelity. They devise a fidelity test for Karl's wife (M. Drahokoupilová) where they all meet "by chance" at a bar and Franta will try to charm his friend's wife by regaling her with his travel stories. But once the plan is in motion the lady in question is not fooled, and hatches a plan of her own.... (Full plot summary below)
