Lakshmi's son (Nasser) and wife (Ambika) get killed by a sugar mill owner and Minister (Kalabhavan Mani) for exposing his corrupt practices. The family has since been in perpetual conflict with the Minister. With the rivalry turning bitter, Vel is out to settle scores with the Minister. Scuffles between them become a daily routine. Vasudevan comes to know by accident that Vel is his twin brother and comes to the village and sends him to the city. As Vel is emotionally attached to the Lakshmi family, Vasu wants him to stay with the family and cement the bonding. To help his brother, Vasu enters the fray to eliminate the arch rival.

| User ReviewPrathaban MGod, when is the Tamil industry going to get tired with these family sentiments. Ok - I don't condone sentimental movies, but it is the stereotype screenplays to present it that makes me sick. Surya has continously disappointed his fans for a while with these kind of mediocre movies after that brief purple patch he had a couple of years ago. This movie lacks any twists, good acting, comedy and music. Vadivelu really needs to think of something new for his comedy. Lakshmi and Saranya have managed to present a nice tutorial on overacting. Yes, the only relief is Kalabavan Mani with his humorous villany. Surya - time to wake up budy. Don't keep disappointing us!! |
