User ReviewRichie Ka look into sixties London, but the grotty every day life, not the Soho bods. pretty dark but excellent.
User ReviewSharna JI love 60's films and this is my fave, the music's great in it too.
User ReviewKaren RJust loved this film.I love all the old 60's movies!Brilliant
User ReviewDanny LA slice of Swinging 60's london, this classic british film has everything from rich girl working in a factory to back street abortionists (played brilliantly by Hilda Baker) It;s amazing to see how london has changed over the years (for the better ?)
User ReviewPauliegirl GThis is my favorite of the 'kitchen sink' dramas the other one being 'A Taste of Honey'
User ReviewAdrian AThis is a truthful slice of the sixties and an iconic film of it's time. It's look and feel is gritty and the soundtrack supplied by the Manfred Mann Band fits in beautifully. Highly recommended.
User ReviewKaren Fbrilliant film & it sort of reminds me of the story of the Buddha in a way.
User ReviewPrivate UI saw this when I was about 13 my mother let me stay up to watch it and I think it was a way of saying "look what happens when you get into trouble" excellent but very gritty
User ReviewAnn BI suppose its the best of the "Red bus" British films saw the play many years later. Battersea is now a desireable area
User ReviewAndrew SThis has a few flaws, it's slightly cliched as borrows elements (such as the back street aborton) from better movies such as 'Alfie'. While you never seem to get to know and understand the main character. That said, this is very well acted (I'm suprised that Adrienne Posta never had a better career as she steals this movie) and the score by Manfred Mann is first rate.
