| User ReviewD MAn Italian heir must sell his castle in order to pay back taxes; the castle is converted into a hotel. The heir gets a job as a bellhop at his former residence. Soon after he starts this new job, his rich German uncle (played by Christopher Lee) who he's not previously met, arrives as a guest. After learning of his uncle's vampiric state, the bellhop devises a way to kill the vukodlak so he as the nephew can inherit the riches. The plan backfires and the uncle, wanting to rid himself of the vampire-curse, transfers it to his nephew. A lot of comedy ensues as the bellhop attempts to gain control over his new powers. One of the best non-Abbott and Costello horror-comedies of the 1950s. |
