| User ReviewJoel AA solid documentary that captures the horror devastation of the Triangle Shirtwaist Company Factory Fire on Saturday 25th of March 1911. The fire started simply by a discarded cigarette that connected with discarded materials on the 8th floor & many girls could escape in time. However the operator wasted key minutes on connecting with the fire brigade instead of warning the 9th floor who only found out when it was too late. The reports of what happened to some of these women was atrocious & hard to hear but this event did happened & pushed a new change in industry standards. Tragically 147 died in this fire & 71 women seriously injured, a truly heart wrenching story |
