Tyler is a surfer who constantly searches for good surfing spots. When he's traveling through Mexico, he finds one of the best places he has ever seen. He invites his brother Colin to join him and his friends in surfing the wild Mexican waves. A group of people take off for a deserted area of Mexico to surf, which is a big mistake! Pretty creepy, the acting is pretty good, and whilst we have the usual people doing stupid things stuff, you actually like the characters and there's an Okay flashback explanation for what's going on. The gore is minimal and there's nudity. You could do worse for 1:22. Caught this on Netflix instant watch. |

| User ReviewDon SProduction values are poor in this supernatural horror movie - from scenes that are so dark they are completely washed out to beads of water on the camera lens while filming the "exciting" surf scenes to scenes that shake so much it is nearly nauseating due to the handheld camera. The story is credible enough, though not enough time is given to the backstory. The effects are fair and the acting is not terrible. Michelle Borth is someone I'd really like and follow if she worked more. Still, not worth your time. |
