| User ReviewCalvin WWooden acting? Check. Obvious CGI? Definitely. Thin plot? Of course. I still found this more entertaining than "Transformers". I think that with the money and resources they had available, the filmmakers here made a more interesting, more original movie. No, the special effects aren't nearly as good, and there's no Shia for me to care about for 40 minutes, but the action is choregraphed better, and I like the b-movieness of it all. |

| User ReviewRob HLesbian leaders. Sorority Pilot bitch fights. Bio-mechanical, morphing invaders. A classic B-movie plot. Leigh Scott: "If Mospeada was live action!" The movie has a bizarre script, student direction, a cast of wannabe adults, graphics from the Sega megadrive, yet it works! Its a nice little sci-fi movie that all space cadets should watch! If you are a fan of the Robotech Universe, again its an unmissable movie. NB:The Z bots look like Invid Inforcers. The ZZ bots look like a mix of Invid and Master's Bio-roid. The Juggernaughts can transform into Destroid-esque weapon platforms. But above all, the fighters, "Alpha squad" look 99% like Alpha fighters. WATCH WATCH WATCH! |
