In October 2017, with the launch of the Global Wrestling Network, the event became available on request. On Victory Road, eight professional fights were presented, in which various fighters from already existing hostility scenarios and scenes participated. Wrestlers portrayed villains, heroes or less distinguishable characters in the scenarios of events that created tension and ended in a fight or a series of matches. The storyline, which was shown on Victory Road, was between reigning champion Sting and challenger Jeff Hardy for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. In the March issue of TNA Impact !, the show, which should shed light on the mysterious promo "3.3.11" shown a week before, Sting returned by Network, returned unexpectedly after several months of absence after failing to convince Dixie Carter of absorbing Immortal , challenge and win the title of Hardy, who was one of the leaders of the group. The following week, Hardy announced that he was robbed because he was deprived of time to prepare to defend his title. A few minutes later, "TNA owner" and members of the "Immortal" Hulk Hogan and his partner Eric Bischoff announced that it would be Sting vs. Hardy on Victoria Road with the championship on the line.
