Los Angeles TimesNoel MurrayMostly, it’s impressive how Bowler reimagines his own Oscar-nominated 2011 short film. He takes his original idea of using time-travel as a kind of metaphysical Photoshop and seriously thinks through how it would work — and whether it’s possible to have a “happy ending” when revision is always an option.
User Reviewdrrick89This is a cute, low budget movie - which has a little depth to it and requires the ability to think abstractly to understand what it's about. Otherwise, the lack of expensive eye candy or special effects may cause you to rate it as a low quality film.
User ReviewbataguilaSe enreda la historia, no atteriza bien el viaje en el tiempo al final. La historia de amor si esta interesante.
User ReviewJLuis_001This story contains interesting elements to become a slightly more serious project despite its thematic, however, it fails to perform better and everything just stays in simple good intentions.
User ReviewBradleyJordanWhat a stupid movie. I am a real time and space travel movie geek, so I’m very forgiving with this genre, but stupid is stupid. Badly written, the characters don’t make logical decisions, and they keep continue doing the same stupid thing over and over again with little introspection. The character development was poorly done, so my husband and I left the movie not caring about anybody. The acting was weak, there wasn’t a single solid role. I love the Hot Tub Time Machine and Groundhog Day, so my standards obviously aren’t too high, so you know where I’m coming from. I have no idea why the one professional reviewer, at the time of my review, gave this a freaking 70%, maybe it’s the reason the movie is called Time Freak. Watch the trailer if you don’t believe me, and make the intelligent decision, don’t waste your money. I gave this movie a higher rating than it deserves because, like I said, a time and space travel geek.
User ReviewjaansI did not like this movie one bit. This movie is what I did not like. I cannot believe the creators of this movie decided to create a movie like this one. I went to the store with my mom the other day and begged her to get me something from redbox and when she finally agreed I was given this movie. Unbeknownst to myself this movie would be a complete dumpster fire. The director talked during the entire thing, which annoyed me to no end. The director talked so much that the majority of the time I could not even hear the actors. The one thing I did like about this movie was Sophie Turner ( who is so so so so so so so Cute and has so so so so much hair). She acted acted really really well because she was so so so so so cute and funny and amazing, sophie please be my friend. tag her so she will see this (please please). Therefore I give this movie that is suprisingly called time freak a 2.
