| User ReviewNicholas DNot really something I was expecting to see on PBS. It was pretty interesting, though. |
| User ReviewTJ Hi was looking forward to watching this film... a film about 3 asian american women, the main character a korean adoptee like myself... i thought the movie started out really strong, like WOW... i totally relate to this character- i'm viewing myself on screen... but the story changed directions and i got disappointed with the flow of the storyline... the so called 'romantic' relationship between the adoptee and the brother was unbelievable, or i found it too odd... but than again, who knows how much of the storyline was autobiographical... i liked the so called rapport that developed between the adoptee and simon tho and her rapport with the 2 other asian females... not often are asian american adoptees portrayed in aa films... so i give kudos to the director for good effort... i just think i would have told the story in a different way tho... 3 to 3 1/2 stars outta five.. |
