User ReviewAndhika BNice road story concept and implementation by Riri Riza from the beginning to the end of the movie. However, don't expect any turbulence or peak point inside the movie. The scene inside the movie are just reporting and brought up of what happened this day in Indonesia in the teenager perception. Quite alarming for parents but something need to be done with it. Adinia and Nicholas was perfect to play those role and what I like was the chemistry is there and they can make the viewer keep guessing what happened next, and by the time the movie reach the ending, the viewer still keep guessing what happened next, and found out what the director want to say. The thing that must not happened need to be stress out that it must not happened. Full of life warning and values. Please pay attention and avoid it.
User ReviewAlf RPortraying 3 days journey of Yusuf (Nicholas Saputra) and Ambar (Adinia Wirasti) from Jakarta to Yogyakarta as a bearer of some meals equipment for midodareni, a javanese tradition agenda prior the wedding ceremony. Poor sound editing and somehow this movie is trying hard to be a 'cool' as a road movie. However ... goddammit! This film certainly do hit my spot. I love it! Tremendous chemistry from both main casts. Absolute-contagious chemistry. Even i kinda minimize their so-called smart-cheesy conversations, since Riri Riza did the right thing by chosen a high-school-graduation characters as a justification. Hence, do not treat the conversation same as Celine & Jessie in Before Sunrise/Before Sunset. The songs from Float is impressive and the ending is just perfect! Recommended.

User ReviewAshley HMost Honest Indonesian movie ever made. Less pretentious, trully representing what young people feels about the country.
User ReviewRony ZA road movie which offers great views of Indonesia's Java Island. For almost 2 hours, I felt like I was virtually transferred to this beautiful fantastic country. I was surprised that this movie deals with controversial topics (considering the conservative islamic Indonesian society). I guess that they wanted to show the difference between the modern lifestyle of young people from big cities and the strictly traditional way of life of the older generation. What I didn't like in this movie was the constant use of drugs by the 2 main characters.
User ReviewEndah T"3 Hari Untuk Selamanya" punya potensi menjadi film ok.
User ReviewYunita WI get what the directors (Mira Lesmana) were trying to brought up with this movie: A whole lots of Taboos that had been broken in Indonesia. Unfortunately, in the end, there were too many ideas and kinds of taboos that were put into this movie that you did not really get to see the characters flourished they way they supposed to be. The subtexts were okay and could be done better. However, they need to hire someone to do a better job at timing so it came out exactly where the dialogue actually happen and not before or after or flip-flopped. I also get the part where the scenes were cut and to be honest, even if it was removed, it didn't really change the ending because the ending was not complete. I understood but I'm not sure if most of the audience did. Overall, besides of the points I put up in the beginning of this review, I believe the movie was just okay. Three stars from me
User ReviewDewi Athis is the most laid back movie i've ever seen. you'll see Indonesia, the truely Indonesian road.... nothing really pretty cause that's just how indonesia looks like for real, especially in the most packed island... Java. The movie is set at 'jalur pantura', one of the most busy roads in Indonesia connecting every regions in Java. You'll be indulged by how laid back this movie is perfectly match with great soundtrack performed by FLOAT, newcomers indie band. The story starts when Yusuf, cast by Nicholas Saputra (Indonesian sweetheart 8-}) is asked by his aun't to deliver family's antique dinnerset to Jogjakarta for family wedding reception. driving his car with his spoiled cousins, Ambar (Ardinia Wirasti.... she's so lucky to get a chance to co-staring with Nicholas Saputra... teuteb judulnya iri tanda tak mampu). character crash couldn't be avoided on the way to jogjakarta between Yusuf and Ambar. which is unfortunately be the climax point of this movie... which i think pretty poor written. This movie also put some social issue like polygamy in it. I put 2 thumbs up for the way it's told in the movie... fresh, comedic, and 'oh.. no heartache'. moral of the story after watching this movie : "don't sleep with your cousin... for any reason it's not appropriate!!!"
