VarietyJoe LeydonDirector Ernie Barbarash makes judicious use of CGI trickery -- in one key scene, he cleverly shocks his audience into laughing -- but at heart, he's an old-school traditionalist when it comes to scary stuff.
Jam! MoviesJim SlotekThe plot pieces all fit together nicely, the acting is fair and the scary stuff is well executed.
User ReviewJakub JThis was a pretty good movie. Not scary, but a great relation between the world of the living and the world of the dead from another cultures perspective.
User ReviewKoushik Djust saw a real horror movie after a long time.
User ReviewLauren LVery scary.. Interesting that they combine both Asian and western.
User ReviewGamera RThis was a far above expected film. It rose way beyond any expectations with the crowd I saw it with at the Houston Worldfest film festival. Everybody there and me were surprised at how much better it was than the usual junk in this genre like LAST MISSED CALL, for example. If you actually watch this movie (unlike the fake critics on the net) you will be able to see right aways how much these filmmakers cared and how hard they were trying. It is damn entertaining. First time Jaime King has ever got to show off her acting skills -- I was as impressed as the critics from Variety I read about later.
User ReviewNatalie HThis movie is amazing. It's a great movie but if you are into culture as well there is a lot of that because a lot of the movie is based on the fact that the family is Asian.
User ReviewGordon LVery good movie, especially for being filmed in Vancouver. GO CANADA!
User ReviewElma MI LOVE IT. Wait, this is the Asian bonecollector thing, righto? If so, radical !
User ReviewJason MThis was a pretty good movie. Not scary, but a great relation between the world of the living and the world of the dead from another cultures perspective.
