When Fred prepares to lead the army to war, a tearful Betty asks him not to leave her. Fred ignores her pleas, having become attached to his new role. The army is soon at war with the giant mosquitoes. While they kill a few mosquitoes in combat, the insects are numerous. Fred asks for reinforcements. Betty arrives at the front, carrying with her a giant canister of poison gas. The mosquitoes are eliminated through the use of gas. Fred and Betty are granted leading positions in the army's victory parade.
