Deseret News (Salt Lake City)Jeff ViceThe filmmakers claim they've tried to make something that will appeal to audiences outside of the usual LDS-film demographic -- yet it's filled with jokes and references that will only make sense to that audience.

User ReviewHeber CI am in it, I helped with the video editing. So... it's a masterpiece.
User ReviewJesse RLikable mockumentary, a Morman one at that. It is often funny, good cast. Some of the segments don't always work that well, but as a whole it was a pleasant diversion. Most Morman films, especially the comedies, I have enjoyed very much.

User ReviewCamden FMy old screenwriting teacher wrote and directed this! And...yeah, okay, it's not that good. I will admit he has a huge ego, and it shows in this film.
User ReviewTori TIt's been a while since I've been on here, and I got a lot of shit to do. I got a ton of movie reviews to catch up on since my absense, so sit back and enjoy, BITCH!!! A film I saw a long time ago, entited "The Work And The Story", gave all audiences a dose of mormon cinema. And the film-makers overdosed on this one for sure--this movie is terrible. I wll admit, however, 1/4 through the movie, I hadn't laughed so hard at a movie for a long time like this. The movie poked fun at itself and practically parodied itself. However, halfway through, the lame plot became visable, and the laughs stopped suddenly. I almost gave this movie a "0" because the ending was so damn terrible. It deserves a 2 for it's ability throughout the first half of the movie. Other than that, screw this movie.
