Meanwhile, Sarah Pennington seeks protection for her young daughter, Kara, believing extraterrestrials are bent on abducting Kara as they did her husband three years earlier. Kara, a spiritual and highly intelligent nine-year-old, has a very special gift - one that threatens to expose the nature of the extraterrestrials. Josh Sanders, Pete's uncle, is the focal point that brings Peter, Sarah and Kara together - all under the influence and advice of the mysterious stranger, Ethan.
